Work. Exercise. Bills. Social Media. Traffic. Weddings. Pets. Health. Friendships. Food. Kids. Housework. Sleep. Emails. Practice. Phone calls. Homework. Hobbies. Deadlines. Illness. Birthday parties. Stuff. And more stuff. In any given day, week, or month, most of us have a ton of responsibilities and are constantly bombarded by them. It’s no wonder that “If I only had more time” or “If I just had two of me” are such common phrases. So it shouldn’t come as a surprise that we often feel out of balance. Well, this week, we are going to do something about it. It’s time to SIMPLIFY YOUR LIFE. Simplifying is one of the key steps towards achieving balance. And a big part of simplifying is prioritizing what is important to you, what is necessary, and how you want to spend your time. Simplifying doesn’t always mean you need to throw everything out—physically or otherwise. Instead, it means spending time identifying what is helpful and what brings you joy in your life, and saying goodbye to the rest. And, in the process, it’s important to remember that letting go of things, whether those are belongings, relationships, habits, or other responsibilities, is a natural and incredibly healthy part of life. Stay present with the good in your life and let the rest go. You can do it. Simplifying your life matters.
